Chayne Clouds

is a rap and hip-hop artist out of Aurora, CO. He is represented by the Geek Street Society Music Group independent label. Originally from Brooklyn, the birthplace of rap, Chayne Clouds’ style is influenced by Jay-Z, Tech 9, Nas, Ice Cube, and Eminem.

Championed by the hip-hop underground and geek subcultures alike, music by Chayne Clouds builds crowds, energy and emotion for recordings, performances and playlist spots which never fail to excite his audiences.
Describing his songs himself, Clouds writes: “I think my music is very introspective and insightful with strong opinions and lasting lyrics.

If you add that and a little bit of geek into the mix, that’s me. Heavy bass, great hooks and melodies, with a little bit of nerdiness, fun, and social awareness.”

I think I have a great ear for production. “If you add that and a little bit of geek into the mix, that’s me. Heavy bass, great hooks and melodies, with a little bit of nerdiness, fun, and social awareness.”
Others have described his music as “a gritty, refreshing and uptempo cocktail of ‘geek-hop’ music.”

Chayne Clouds’s repertoire includes his most popular release, “Gamer Girl,” which appeared on Geek Street Society Music Group in 2012. This was followed by “Puff Puff Pass” and “Cosplay,” both 2016. These tracks and more from Chayne Clouds continue to garner widespread critical and fan acclaim, particularly among video game aficionados and fans of pop-culture geekdom in general. “Gamer Girl” alone has reached over 83 countries organically via social media in the geek community.

“I rap about everything.”

“I rap about everything,” writes Chayne Clouds. “Love, haters, life, the come-up, personal growth, political and social topics, being a father and a geek. I can tell stories in my music and paint vivid pictures or I can just turn all the way up. I’m artistically versatile.”

Chayne Clouds went from being homeless in high school to becoming the voice of the voiceless. His “underdog,” defy-the-odds personality has helped him push through much adversity. After years of hard work and determination, he brings his passion for music to others both like him and unlike him while always being 100% true to himself.

A  previously reigning, award-winning Freestyle Battle Champion, Chayne Clouds occasionally performs for crowds of over 50,000, sharing the stage with artists like B.O.B, Bone Thugs & Harmony, and Devin the Dude. In addition to performing in his base state of Colorado, Chayne Clouds has also played live in New York, Texas, Nevada, and California.

His popularity also grows daily as a radio host spinning underground and unsigned artists from across the country. He’s opinionated, passionate and nerdy, wanting to bring out the #GeekLife in everyone whether they are a sports nut or a gamer.

“I make music because it’s my freedom, it’s my escape,” says Chayne Clouds. “My ears are a gift and the way that I hear music is different from a lot of people. I love to see their reactions when they learn it’s my music. I love the stage – I love the people reciting my lyrics.”

“Chayne has not only peaked my interest in him, but the whole Denver sound as well.”
